DDD8 I actually like this piece. YES. I actually LIKE a piece I've uploaded. Let me explain my reasonings.

The angle is one I've never explored before. I managed to successfully include shading I'm proud of. And the background is very representitive of the story the picture puts across. Yes, there is a reason it's a crap sky. xD

I am involved in a roleplay with :iconoh-my-umbrella: (MCR male slash, to be exact) and I have it so that when Bob was young, he lost his parents and brother to a drunk driver and lived with his mean aunt. D8 Here, he is reflecting on what happened to the ghosts of his loved ones, and the sky is representitive of his childhood, and it goes down to see what he is like now. Hence the washy/uneveness of the blue cover, and the childish star and moon. =) Hard to explain, but I've done the best I could. xD

awesome! I love the perspective, you really pulled it off! The whole concept is pretty cool too, like the way you incorperated the backstory into the art.

This is beautiful, and I'd say that it is one of your best traditional pieces. The angle, the nighttime coloring, and the carefully constructed back story all make this a stunning piece of art.

=D Thank you. I wanted to do something with one of my older characters, and was listening to the song 'Through the Glass' by Stone Sour, and this thought just popped into my head. =) I'm glad I'm able to explore new perspectives successfully (reasonably) and know how to achieve to some levels the standards that I've always wanted to be at, though I still have a long way to go in terms of colouring/shading. =)

=D Thank you. The back story developed fully over the course of two years roleplaying with the character, so hopefully by now I've worked out all the little flaws and stuff to make it a more solid piece. =)
